We depart at 6am from Johannesburg/Pretoria to our final destination Cape Town over a period of 11 days where I will return you to where I picked you up. Pick-up points will be discussed upon booking.

Day 1

We leave Jhb/Pta on our way to our first destination at Mokala National Park. Approximately 540km. Road food is enjoyed along the road as it was long ago, yes it is safe. In Kimberley we visit the “big hole”. In the evening after we have seen some game, we spend the night in chalets at Mokala National Park.

Day 2

We drive 480km to Beaufort West. We see what the Karoo villages look like, Britstown, Strydenburg, Victoria West and also stop at Kambro padstal where you will enjoy a brunch (their specialty is springbok or lamb pie). We see the three sisters and arrive at Beaufort West about 8-10 hours later. It is a day of long driving we stop everywhere to get a souvenir or two. That evening we enjoy a braai under the Karoo starry sky. At the restaurant just before we drive to the Cape Town breakfast is enjoyed in the restaurant.

Day 3-7

We arrive at Table Mountain National Park, our home for the next 5 days. Sleep in Cape Point National Park, Smithwinkel tents. We are going to explore everything here and see what the Cape has to offer. I’ll name a few on the list: Table Mountain itself, Kirstenbos botanical gardens, Fish Hoek and its shops along the sea, train route along the coast, Simon’s Town, Cape Point itself, the penguins at Boulders. Everything is possible, but also depends on the weather. I’m looking forward to it. We eat “brunch” and once again dinners that will keep you full. I can’t expand any further, there are too many.

Day 7-9

We drive to Agulhas where we stay in Lagoon House guesthouse, where we rest well for 2 days before we head back home to our various pick-up points. Here we will not only rest but also visit the southernmost point of Africa. We drive back to our homes, where we spend the last night at Britstown.

Day 10

We then leave on the last day for Gauteng, a further 740km.

We greet the beautiful Cape and our guests and look forward to the next discussion.

Thank you everyone and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
