We depart at 6am from Jhb/Pta to our final destination Stormsriviermond over a period of 9 days where I will return you where I pick you up. Pick-up points will be discussed with booking.
Day 1
We leave Jhb/Pta on our way to our first destination at Golden Gate Nature Reserve. Approximately 400km or 4 hours drive. Here we visit all the beauties of Golden Gate and Clarens and enjoy a nice “brunch” (included in the price) at a restaurant of your choice. In the evening we spend the night in Golden Gate where we continue to eat a nice braai.
Day 2-3
It is a day of a lot of driving, 750km but we stop at Ficksburg, Fouriesburg and see everything that the countryside of Eastern Free State has to offer us. Again we will enjoy a “brunch” and end with a one-dish meal in Camdeboo. We explore the Camdeboo and look out over the Valley of Desolation and long for yesterday and see tomorrow approaching. Graaff-Reinet is explored. Again we will enjoy a brunch somewhere with a braai and potjie every other day. We leave for Addo our next stay, also about 250km away.
Day 3-5
We stay in Addo where we enjoy the reserve and spend 2 nights. We have brunch at a peak place, eat braai and more braai. You will definitely gain a few kilos. Just don’t hold me responsible.
Day 6-8
We arrive at Stormsriviermond, 250km later, our home for the next 3 days. We are going to explore everything here and see what the Garden Route has to offer us. I am looking forward to it. We will have brunch and again dinners that will fill your stomach. I can’t elaborate any further, there is too much.
Day 9
We drive back to our homes but will stop and spend the night at Gariep (750km), where we will hopefully be able to visit the dam wall. We then depart on the last day for Gauteng, a further 600km.
We greet the beautiful Eastern Cape and our guests and look forward to the next reservation.
Thank you everyone and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
