About Us

Hi there, my name is Chris, and I am your driver guide (with a PDP licence) on Kronkelpad Tours. My wife and I look forward to entertain you on all South Africa’s “kronkelpaaie” which inspired us to start Kronkelpad tours.

The term “Big Five” originally referred to the difficulty in hunting the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo. With the buffalo being the most extreme and the daggaboy the ultimate challenge. The name daggaboy originate from the older buffalo bulls that are pushed out of the herd and then congregate in mud “dagga” pools. Come join us and find these daggaboy’s on the Kronkelpad of South Africa.

As a tour company, we know how to help you out in the wild. We would like you to come and explore South Africa with us. Our Iveco bus is built for comfort not for crowds.
